Spring offers: How to get your mountain bike ready for the start of the season

Dirty weather is hard on the suspension. It is therefore worth replacing the lubricating oil in the MTB suspension fork from time to time. The effort involved is minimal, but the fork works much better afterwards. Packing the dirty e-bike into the freshly cleaned car? That hurts. The solution: pack a mobile high-pressure cleaner with battery and bucket in the boot too! The most common defects when biking are tyre damage. Thorns pierce even the densest carcasses, sharp-edged rocks cut through the rubber and roots crush the inner tubes when the rim punctures. Fully equipped with Shimano Deore XT drive and brakes, there's little that can go wrong on your tours. And if the trails get rough and steep - the suspension with 150 mm of travel can handle a lot. The new Focus Thron 6.9 is, so to speak, the little brother of the Focus Jam all-mountain bike and, with its 130 millimetres of suspension travel, ranks in the trail segment. The Fox 34 Float Rhythm fork provides suspension at the front and a Fox Float DPS Performance damper at the rear.
