- In Aalen, the BIKE SPIRIT AWARDS were presented for the first time to recognise voluntary work in mountain biking across three categories.  
- The focus is on projects relating to legal trail building, diversity and inclusive cycling experiences; Winners include entrants from Rems-Murr, Albtrauf and the Palatinate Forest, amongst others.  
- The awards come with prize money and non-cash prizes, made possible by Nina Hoffmann’s bike auction and partners such as VAUDE, Schneestern and Bosch.
