At last! The Shimano EP8 has been unveiled. Smaller, lighter, quieter, more powerful. We have an overview of the e-mountainbikes with the new Shimano motor.

The e-mountainbike world has been waiting a long time for the successor to the Steps E8000. Now Shimano has revealed the secret. The newcomer is called EP8! All the info on the new drive from the Japanese company we have prepared in detail in this articleincluding the first practical tests. Unfortunately, all bikes with the new Shimano EP8 will not be available in stores for the time being, as the delivery of the series motors has been delayed. So the wait is not quite over yet.

Kelly's Theos

With the Theos, Kellys wants to create a very special bike with EP8. Together with materials specialist Rein4ced, the frame is made from steel fibre-reinforced carbon. This is intended to increase the strength of the frame. Another special feature is the 720 watt-hour battery, which is pulled downwards out of the entire down tube.
