Mondraker F-Podium RR

The Mondraker F-Podium RR is a fast marathon bike. The geometry data speaks for itself: a sporty riding position to get as much pressure on the pedals as possible. This is clearly noticeable both on the flat and uphill. We really liked the fact that the shock and fork can be locked out simultaneously at the press of a thumb. The biggest challenge is probably to keep up with the bike's sporty behaviour over a longer period of time. For ambitious racers, however, this is just the thing! Rose PDQ 2

PDQ stands for Pretty Damn Quick - and that's exactly what the cross country bike from Rose wants to be. The modern geometry and 120 millimetres of suspension travel should ensure fun on the trails. However, the sporty concept and carbon frame could also appeal to real speed freaks. "With the PDQ, Rose has an extremely stylish and well-equipped race hardtail in the shed for the price. Despite the dropper post and the 120-millimetre fork, the bike remains more of a classic racer than a fun down-country hardtail," says Stefan Frey, BIKE test editor. Giant Stance E+ 1 Pro

The Giant Stance E+ 1 Pro can do both relaxed tours and sporty trails. With the large battery, you can even manage a longer tour. We were particularly impressed by the uphill performance. The E-MTB is also safe to ride and smooth, but less playful. Comfort is not neglected either. Trek Rail 7 Gen3

A classic among the E-All-Mountains. "The Trek Rail 7 combines touring comfort, suitability for everyday use and good off-road performance into a well-rounded all-mountain package. However, it doesn't stand out in any discipline. High-quality aluminium frame with convenient battery removal. Giant Trance X Advanced E+ LTD

The Giant Trance X Advanced E+ is superbly equipped: SyncDrive Pro motor with 85 Nm torque, carbon frame with 140 mm rear suspension travel and 150 mm front suspension travel, flip chip to adjust the angle of the head tube and seat tube, 800 Wh battery and much more. So it's no wonder that the price quickly and easily reaches five figures. Cube Stereo ONE55 C:62 TM 29

Enduro geometry, downhill-orientated components and a good weight: even on paper, the Cube Stereo ONE55 promises a lot of riding fun. At the same time, it rides safely and comfortably in practice. BIKE test editor Max Fuchs says: "The ONE55 manages to combine a lot of travel with a reasonable weight. The modern geometry and the very high-quality equipment make the Cube a downhill-orientated all-rounder." Summer Sale: Reduced bike clothing with a safety aspect

Chest armour: Scott Softcon Air

The Scott Softcon Air is a lightweight and thin chest protector. It is certified with level 1. This means that a maximum average residual force of 18 kN may penetrate the body. On the chest and back, however, it would also meet the requirements for level 2 (maximum residual forces of 9 kN) - unusual for such a thin and light chest protector. As a hybrid waistcoat, the Scott can be worn both over and under a jersey. All in all, a very good breastplate. In the summer sale: The Fox Crossframe Pro helmet

With the Crossframe Pro helmet, Fox has presented its first bike helmet without a visor. The helmet is primarily intended for sporty gravel biking and fast cross-country laps on a mountain bike. "The new Fox Crossframe Pro manages a balancing act between MTB and gravel helmets, albeit not quite as difficult. Anyone travelling on both types of bike, perhaps graveling on the sporty way to work, but preferring to chase through the undergrowth at the weekend in XC low-flying, will find a well-ventilated, very well-fitting helmet here that is also visually convincing." - This is the opinion of BIKE tester Marc Strucken. >> Offer: currently available at Alltricks for 125 euros instead of 199 euros.

Giro Coalition Spherical MTB helmet

The Giro Coalition Spherical MTB helmet offers the perfect compromise between the lowest possible weight and maximum protection. Despite weighing just 800 grams, it is downhill-certified. The 25 ventilation openings contribute to a comfortable fit, as does the new chin guard. The Halo system is designed to provide better shock absorption in the event of a fall.

100% S2 sunglasses

"The stylish S2 sits securely and comfortably rubberised on medium-width faces. However, due to the lack of adjustment, it has to fit well. A little draughty from below. Initially very bright and well suited for cloudy days, it reacts quickly to changes in light. Five Ten Freerider Pro

The Five Ten Freerider Pro convinced us in practice. The shoes weigh 813 grams and can be worn all year round thanks to the water-repellent upper material. If the shoe gets really wet, it dries again quite quickly. The grippy S1 Stealth sole guarantees a secure footing on the pedals. Shimano SH-RX600

Due to the stiff, but not rock-hard sole, we recommend the Shimano SH-RX600 for bikepacking and adventure. The sole, inspired by gravel racing, is carbon reinforced. Both the sole and the shoe as a whole are quite light. We also liked the fact that the shoe has a wider cut - the women's model, on the other hand, is narrower. Unfortunately, we had to criticise the insole, which offers little support. Kuro Air: Lightweight wind jacket from Vaude

We particularly liked the Vaude Kuro Air because of its clever cut and low weight. While it fits snugly around the torso, it is cut wider at the arms, making it much easier to put on than usual. As they are longer at the back, they also protect your back and bum. The elasticated upper back and cuffs make it easy to adopt a sporty posture. The Kuro Air is also windproof. Gravex Shorts M by Jack Wolfskin

The Gravex Shorts M from Jack Wolfskin are the counterpart to the FZ longsleeve. The trousers have two hip pockets and one leg pocket and are equipped with reflective elements for greater safety. They are said to be very comfortable thanks to a high stretch content, as well as being windproof and slightly moisture-repellent. The manufacturer also advertises good breathability. "There is nothing to criticise about the Kryptonite folding lock. The solid and easy-to-use bracket can be attached to the frame at many points, and the locking process is permanently smooth. Summer sale: The SKS Airmotion 12.0 floor pump

This floor pump from SKS is particularly impressive due to its smooth pump function, but has a wobbly stand. However, this is also the only real weakness of the SKS Airmotion 12.0. The pump is particularly suitable for tall people, the pressure gauge is easy to read and measures precisely.
