KTM MACINA FUN 520

The 2020 KTM MACINA FUN 520 is a versatile e-bike that is ideal for trekking tours and urban use. The bike’s frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a Bosch Gen.3 motor, which provides maximum assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The integrated Bosch PowerPACK battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures a reliable power supply on longer rides.

The Shimano MT200 braking system, featuring 2-piston brakes, ensures a safe and controlled ride. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Acera M3000-9 SGS Shadow rear derailleur, which, in combination with the Shimano Altus M2010-9 shift levers, enables precise gear selection. The Suntour NEX-E25 Coil NLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort and suspension on uneven terrain.

The MACINA FUN 520’s lighting comprises the B&M Lumotec AVY LED front light (40 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The Trekk VP-616 pedals with an anti-slip coating offer a secure grip, whilst the KTM COMP BNI crankset, with a length of 170 mm, ensures efficient power transfer.

The e-bike’s drive is supported by the Shimano E6070-9 e-bike system. The handlebars – a KTM Line Rizer with a width of 640 mm – and the Ergon GP1 SD grips without bar ends provide a comfortable and ergonomic grip. The adjustable KTM Line UP3 stem allows for individual adjustment of the handlebar position.

The MACINA FUN 520 is fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Plus Performance GreenGuard tyres (40-622) at both the front and rear, which ensure good traction and puncture resistance. The wheelset consists of KTM Line rims, Shimano Acera M3050 CL hubs and Ambrosio Track Disc rims, connected by DT Champion 2.0 black spokes.

The Selle Royal Essenza saddle and the KTM Line Elegance Suspension seatpost (30.9/300) offer a high level of comfort. The SKS B46R mudguards in gloss black protect against dirt and splashes. An adjustable KTM stand for 28-inch wheels and the KTM Racktime Tour luggage rack with Snap-it system round off the specification.
