KTM MACINA CENTRAL 5 RT XL

The 2020 KTM MACINA CENTRAL 5 RT XL is a high-quality e-bike designed specifically for urban use. The frame is made from robust Macina City US Alloy 6061 and is fitted with an integrated Bosch Gen.3 motor, which delivers 65 Nm of torque and assists up to speeds of 25 km/h. The battery, a Bosch PowerPACK with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures sufficient range for city riding.

Safety and control are provided by the Magura HS22 Evo2 brakes, which perform reliably even in wet conditions. The Suntour NCX-D coil LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers additional comfort on uneven roads. The Shimano Nexus 5 Revoshifter gear lever enables precise and easy gear changes.

The bike’s lighting comprises a B&M Lumotec EYC LED front light with 5 lux and a B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, both of which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The Trekk VP-616 pedals are non-slip and guarantee a secure grip.

The crankset consists of a KTM COMP BNI with a length of 170 mm and a Q-factor of 16, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z1eHX chain. The handlebars, an Ergotec Lady Town GH16 with a width of 620 mm, and the Ergon GP1 grips without bar ends ensure comfortable handling.

The adjustable Ergotec Swell RE70 stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus Perf. DD SmartGuard, size 40-622, fitted to both the front and rear, and provide excellent puncture resistance. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano Deore T610 hubs and Ryde Andra40 rims, laced with DT Alpine II spokes.

The Selle Royal Viaggio City saddle and the Ergotec Skalar seatpost (30.9/350) offer additional comfort on longer rides. The SKS B53T mudguards in high-gloss black protect against splashes and dirt. An adjustable KTM 28" kickstand and a KTM Racktime Tour luggage rack (snap-it) round off the specification.
