Ghost Kato 24 Pro EQ

The "Kato 24 Pro EQ" model from Ghost, released in 2023, is a versatile children’s bike that stands out for its robust construction and high-quality features. The frame is made of aluminium (ALUMINIUM KATO Kid AL), which gives the bike excellent stability whilst keeping the weight down to just 11 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes (HDM276 Hydraulic Disc) with matching brake levers and a Tektro TR16024 front brake disc. These ensure reliable and safe braking performance in a variety of conditions. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore RDM6000 10-speed derailleur, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain, combined with a Samox 28T crankset and a Shimano Deore CSM4100 1142 sprocket.

The Ghost Rigid fork ensures stable and direct steering, whilst the Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.35 tyres on Shining DBX30 rims at both the front and rear provide good grip and comfort on a variety of surfaces. The hubs (KTT04F QR at the front and KTMR5R QR at the rear) perfectly complement the wheel setup.

Safety on the road is ensured by the Spanninga X&O 25 front light and the Spanninga Solo XB rear light. The bike is also fitted with VP225 pedals, a GHOST Junior 560 mm handlebar with a 25 mm rise, and Velo VLG 1979D grips, which ensure comfortable handling. The stem (GHOST TDSC614N) and the FSA headset provide additional stability and control.

The DDK 922 saddle and the GHOST SP DC1 27.2 mm seatpost ensure comfort whilst riding. Practical features such as the Sunnywheel SW825FR mudguards, the Nuvo Adjustable 2028" kickstand and the Unikey 24" Carrier luggage rack round off the overall package.
