Bergamont Revox St. Pauli

The 2022 Bergamont Revox St. Pauli is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. Priced at 779 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is available in both 29” and 27.5” sizes. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 14 kg.

The Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, together with the Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers and a 160 mm Shimano SM-RT10 front brake disc, ensure reliable braking performance in a wide range of conditions. The drivetrain is fitted with a Shimano RD-M2000 Shadow rear derailleur and Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers, enabling a 2x9-speed drivetrain. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M2020 model.

Comfort and control are provided by the Suntour XCT30 HLO DS suspension fork with 100 mm of travel. The pedals are Feimin FP-803, and the bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-UN101 with a BSA thread. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-MT101 with 36/22 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-9 with 11–36 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are a BGM Comp Riserbar with a width of 700 mm, and the grips are Syncros MTB. The stem is also a BGM Comp model with an angle of +/-6°. The headset is a BGM FP-H807B A-Headset, semi-integrated, 1 1/8". The rims are Shining DB-M30 disc rims, 24 mm wide, and the tyres are Kenda Booster in sizes 29x2.40" or 27.5x2.40".

The hubs are Shimano Centre Lock models with quick-release mechanisms at both the front and rear. The spokes are made of black steel. The saddle is a Bergamont ‘FCSP’, and the seatpost is also a BGM Comp model. The Revox St. Pauli S7 thus offers a well-thought-out combination of high-quality components and solid build quality, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced mountain bikers.
