Bergamont Revox 8

The ‘Revox 8’ model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a high-quality mountain bike that impresses with its technical specifications and features. The frame is constructed from an ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 29-inch wheels. Weighing 12 kg and with a maximum load capacity of 115 kg, the bike offers a good balance between lightness and stability.

The Revox 8 is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 173 cm in height. It is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (model BR-MT410), which ensure reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. The brake levers (model BL-M4100) are also by Shimano and allow for precise control. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (model SM-RT30).

The Revox 8’s derailleur is a Shimano Deore XT (model RD-M8100) with Shadow Plus technology, offering a 12-speed drivetrain. The gear lever is a Shimano Deore Rapidfire Plus (model SL-M6100), which enables fast and precise gear changes. The crankset (model FC-M6100) has a 32-tooth chainring, whilst the cassette (model CS-M6100) covers a range of 10–51 teeth.

The bike’s fork is a RockShox Judy Silver TK with 100 mm of travel and a remote lockout, which allows the fork to be locked out when required. The pedals are VP-536, and the bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II with a BSA thread.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0 riser handlebars with a width of 720 mm and a rise of 12 mm. The stem, also a Syncros 3.0, is 75 mm long and has an angle of +/-6 degrees. The grips are Syncros MTB.

The rims are Alex X25 Disc with a width of 25 mm, and the spokes are made of black stainless steel. The tyres are Schwalbe Racing Ray Performance TLR (front) and Schwalbe Racing Ralph Performance TLR (rear), both in size 57-622. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT200 (front) and Shimano FH-MT401 (rear), both with CentreLock disc mounts and quick-release mechanisms.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost. The headset is a Prestine PT1805 A-Headset, semi-integrated, size 1 1/8".

The frame geometry comprises a seat tube length of 445 mm, a top tube length of 610 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 110 mm, a chainstay length of 458 mm and a bottom bracket drop of 70 mm. The reach is 426 mm, the stack 629 mm, the top tube height 769 mm, the fork installation height 503 mm and the crank length 170 mm. The overall wheelbase is 1142 mm, and the bottom bracket height is 303 mm.
