Bergamont Revox 5 EQ pale green/black

The “Revox 5 EQ pale green/black” model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its high-quality components and robust construction. The bike’s frame is made from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and is available in 29” (27.5”) sizes. With a total weight of 16 kg, the bike offers a good balance between stability and lightness.

The Revox 5 EQ’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically the BR-MT200 model – with SM-RT10 rotors, which have a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano (BL-MT200), ensuring reliable and precise braking performance.

The Shimano Deore system (RD-M592, Shadow) is used for the gears, complemented by Shimano SL-M4000 shift levers and an FD-M4000 front derailleur. With a total of 27 gears, the bike offers a wide range of gear ratios, made possible by the Shimano FC-MT300 crankset (40/30/22t) and the Shimano CS-HG201-9 cassette (11-36t). Power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

The Suntour XCM RL DS suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR4 front light and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini rear light, both with a parking light function.

The Revox 5 EQ is also fitted with Wellgo LU895 pedals, a Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket, a Syncros 3.0 handlebar (700 mm wide), Syncros MTB grips and a Syncros 3.0 stem (+/-6°). The headset is a semi-integrated BGM FP-H807B A-Headset.

The wheelset consists of Shining DB29 Disc rims, Impac SmartPac tyres (29x2.10" or 27.5x2.10") with Kevlarguard and reflective strips, as well as Shimano hubs (front: DH-3D37 hub dynamo, rear: Centre-lock disc quick-release). The spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros M3.0 model, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost. SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts are fitted to protect against dirt and splash water, and an adjustable aluminium kickstand from BGM ensures the bike stands securely.
