E-Hardtail Bergamont E-Roxter 6.0 Plus on test
The traditional North German manufacturer has given its E-Roxter thick plus tyres. This increases traction and therefore safety.

The riding position is also perfect and the bike offers a harmonious overall concept. However, it should not be too steep uphill, only 34 teeth as the lowest gear and the basic cruise version from Bosch inhibit propulsion. That's a shame, because the fairly efficient riding position makes it easy to master steep sections. The handling is manoeuvrable and agile with a certain tendency towards nervousness. This is mainly due to the almost 70 degree steep steering angle. The semi-integrated look and the tidy cockpit are pleasing.

ConclusionNo sailor's yarn: The Bergamont is an agile companion with safety reserves for rides on moderately steep terrain.
