Bergamont Revox 3 EQ olive

The "Revox 3 EQ olive" model from the "Bergamont" brand, released in 2022, is a versatile bicycle characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers excellent value for money.

The bike’s frame is made from lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is available in 29” and 27.5” sizes. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg. This combination ensures a stable yet lightweight design, making it suitable for a variety of uses.

For the brakes, Bergamont has opted for Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, specifically the BR-MT200 model. The brake levers are also from Shimano and are designated BL-MT200. A Shimano SM-RT10 brake disc with a diameter of 160 mm is fitted at the front, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The Revox 3 EQ olive’s drivetrain is fitted with a Shimano RD-TX800 rear derailleur and a Shimano FD-TY700 front derailleur. The shift levers are Shimano SL-M315 models and offer a 3x8-speed drivetrain with RapidFire Plus technology, enabling precise and fast gear changes.

The front fork is a Suntour XCE28 DS with 100 mm of travel and adjustable preload, which provides additional comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by Herrmans LED lights: the H-Black MR4 at the front and the H-Trace at the rear, both with a parking light function.

Other features include Feimin FP-803 pedals, a Shimano BB-UN101 bottom bracket, a Shimano FC-TY301 crankset with 42/34/24 teeth, and a Sunrace CS-M55 cassette with 11–34 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z8 chain.

The handlebars are BGM Comp Riser Bars with a width of 700 mm, and the grips are by Syncros MTB. The stem is a BGM Comp with an angle of +/-6°. The headset is a semi-integrated BGM FP-H807B A-Headset with a size of 1 1/8".

The bike rides on Alex X20 rims, 20 mm wide, and Kenda Booster tyres in size 29x2.40" (or 27.5x2.40"). The hubs are by Shimano: a DH-3D37 dynamo hub at the front and a Centre Lock hub with a quick-release at the rear. The spokes are made of black steel.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a BGM Comp-E seatpost. Mudguards from Syncros ensure the rider stays clean, whilst the adjustable Atran Parko BGM kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.
