Full suspension is currently back in fashion. Especially in the touring segment, riding comfort is paramount and e-bikes are often expensive anyway. So why not spend a few more euros and have fun even on bad roads? Cube has already met these requirements in the past with its SUV-style mountain bikes. from the One22 product range played with. With the new Kathmandu One11, the bike giant is finally bridging the gap between trekking and mountain bikes.
The new One11 Hybrid naturally features a Bosch motor, namely the Performance Line CX, with an optional peak output of up to 100 Newton metres and 750 watts. However, the unit is preset to the standard values of 85 Nm / 600 watts ex works. If you want more, you have to help yourself with the Bosch app. A battery with 800 watt hours is installed for a full range, which can be folded forwards out of the down tube in the classic way using a key. A Kiox display shows the most important information about the ride, including simple navigation.
It goes without saying that Cube also does itself honour when it comes to trekking bikes in terms of value for money. The new One11 is available both in the version shown with a low step-through and with a diamond frame. Although the cheaper of the two available models only costs 4199 euros, the main frame is already made of carbon, which should reduce the weight to a relatively light 26.3 kilograms (factory specification). The rear triangle is made of aluminium.
For 5999 euros, the top model ignites a veritable firework of innovation. In addition to high-quality suspension elements from Fox, it also features the new e-bike ABS from Bosch with powerful Magura brakes and the new XT Di2 wireless shifting system from Shimano. The competition will have to dress warmly!
With the new Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One11, the industry giant is taking the next step and launching a full-suspension trekking e-bike for the first time. 110 millimetres of travel, ample 800 Wh battery power and Bosch's Performance Line CX at its heart make it clear: this is all about maximum comfort without range anxiety. The pricing policy is particularly exciting - a carbon frame is available from just 4199 euros, while the 5999 euro top model with Fox suspension, ABS and Shimano's brand new XT Di2 drivetrain is almost high-tech in character. Cube is thus bridging the gap between trekking bike and mountain bike more consistently than ever before - and catapulting the topic of comfort to a new level.
