Cube is relaunching its entire range of e-mountainbikes for the 2025 model year. The Upper Palatinate company has four fullys and a hardtail in its programme for off-road use - all with the new Bosch Performance Line CX 2025 motor. In addition to new models with the new motor, Cube also has exciting gimmicks on board.

The new names are only the smallest innovation in Cube's E-MTB range for the 2025 model year. Stereo Hybrid 120, 140 and 160 the new e-mountainbike fullys are now called Stereo Hybrid One22, Stereo Hybrid One44 and Stereo Hybrid One77. In addition, the Stereo Hybrid One44 Pro is a new model series that sits between the previous 120 and 140 models. Only the name of the hardtail has remained the same. The Reaction Hybrid is designed to bridge the gap between everyday and off-road use at an affordable price.

The new Bosch motor as a cornerstone

Cube presented its 2025 E-MTBs to the public at the beginning of September. However, crucial details about the motor were left open. Now it is clear: the brand new and heavily revised Bosch Performance Line CX MY25 is in the e-bikes. It is not more powerful, but a little lighter and, above all, quieter.

The new batteries are another highlight. The Powertube 800 is lighter than the Powertube 750 of its predecessor - and still delivers more capacity. And the Cube e-MTBs now have a modular battery concept. This is because the smaller and even lighter Bosch Powertube 600 fits into the down tube of the bikes on request. Both variants can be swapped easily and without an adapter.

New model series for trail fun: Cube Stereo Hybrid One44 and One77

The two new One44 and One77 series are designed for sporty mountain biking off-road and on trails. And both are very different from their predecessors, the Stereo 140 and 160. The most visually striking new feature is the rear shock, which has been moved to a horizontal position under the top tube. This adaptation has already proven itself on the Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 and the Cube AMS Hybrid One44 with Bosch SX motor announced. Cube has thus created a clear visual distinction between the more everyday-orientated E-MTBs One22 and One44 Pro (upright shock) and the new trail machines One44 and One77.

Full on downhill: The Cube Stereo Hybrid One77

The highlight of the new range is the Cube Stereo Hybrid One77. The new E-Enduro has 170 millimetres of travel at the front and rear. Never before has a Cube e-mountainbike had so much travel. Mullet wheels are also making their debut on an e-MTB from Cube. The Predecessor Stereo Hybrid 160 still rolled on small 27.5 mm wheels. The new E-Enduro now has a rollover-friendly 29er wheel at the front, while a smaller 27.5er at the rear should ensure short chainstays and thus agile handling. The main frame is made of carbon, the rear triangle of aluminium. It starts at 4299 euros >> e.g. available here. The top model is expected to weigh 23.5 kilos.

The aluminium rear triangle has a kickstand mount and is approved for use with trailers. The sporty all-mountain bike with a carbon main frame should therefore retain its all-round strength and everyday practicality. The entry-level model will cost 4499 euros (>> e.g. available here). Smart Integrated: Front light for all

Cube has come up with a smart connection for a front light for all e-mountainbikes. X-Connect is the name of the system, which is to be fitted ex works on all models from a certain price range upwards. X-Connect has two discreet components: Firstly, an inconspicuous connection for a cable is integrated above the headset bearing shell. The "socket" is connected to the main battery. Secondly, there are two tiny lugs on the stem where special lights from Cube's own brand Acid can be clicked on. The idea behind this: As delivered, the cockpit is super clean. Nevertheless, a front light can be fitted and connected in just a few seconds. Acid offers a good selection for the X-Connect system, from low-cost lights to super-bright headlights.

Moderate on tour: Cube Stereo One22 and One44 Pro

Cube has two new fullys with aluminium frames in its portfolio for everyday and all-round use. As already mentioned, the One22 Pro and One44 Pro rely on the familiar design with upright rear shock. The highlight of the bikes: the weld seams on the main frame are ground, giving the frame a very high-quality look and making it almost indistinguishable from a carbon chassis. The aluminium rear triangle is prepared for mounting pannier racks and mudguards. The fullys are also optionally available in a fully equipped SUV version.
