No more tangled cables and beaded seams: The newly developed aluminium frame of the Reaction Hybrid Performance comes with internal cable routing through the headset and polished weld seams - so the 2025 entry-level class no longer looks like an economy programme, but like a top-class design. The new e-hardtail is also available with a classic diamond frame, trapezoid frame and as a comfortable step-through model.
The Bosch Performance Line motor is at work in the bottom bracket, in the top versions even as a CX version with a full 100 Nm of torque. The battery sits elegantly in the down tube, with a capacity of either 600 or 800 Wh, and can be easily removed for charging using the key.
Cube remains flexible: Up to size M, the Reaction Hybrid rolls on 27.5-inch wheels, above that on 29-inch wheels front and rear. Exception: As a step-through model, the bike consistently uses 27.5-inch wheels across all sizes. This means that Cube has the right bike in its programme for riders of all sizes.
With X-Connect, Cube presented its smart solution for attaching front lights for the first time last year. The light is attached in seconds and the connection to the main battery is just as quick via a "socket" above the head tube.
The system is so discreet that you hardly notice it without a light - perfect for the versatile e-hardtail Reaction Hybrid or the new full-suspension electric speedster AMS 177. Cube's own brand Acid offers a wide range of Bicycle lightswhich are compatible with the company's own e-bikes via the X-Connect interface - from affordable everyday lights to high-end headlights.
The Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance shows just how mature e-hardtails in the entry-level class have become. The new frame impresses with its modern look and clever details, while the motor and battery options provide enough range and thrust for all everyday scenarios and weekend excursions. Thanks to various frame shapes and wheel sizes, almost everyone can find the right version. In short, if you are looking for an uncomplicated, versatile and attractively priced e-MTB, the Reaction Hybrid Performance is the perfect choice.
