BikeParka, the specialist for high-quality bicycle covers, is entering the growing segment of bicycle covers with two new products. Longtail cargo bikes before. The BikeParka Longtail model is also designed to offer short cargo bikes with an extra-long rear rack reliable protection against rain, snow, dust and UV radiation, i.e. bikes such as the freshly updated for 2025 Cube Longtail Hybrid or the one presented in spring Gazelle Cabby. The BikeParka Longtail WS (with seats) model was specially developed for longtail bikes with permanently mounted child seats.
Customised solutions for different configurations
The BikeParka Longtail bike cover is aimed at users of longtail cargo bikes without a child seat fitted. The cover is designed to completely enclose the extended frame concept. An adjustable elasticated strap ensures a secure, windproof fit.
Because child seats are often mounted on the rear carriers of these cargo bikes, BikeParka offers the Longtail WSan variant, which covers the additional height and structure of the seat attachments. The bike cover protects the bike and preserves its value by protecting it from changing weather conditions and dirt.
Technical features for everyday suitability
According to the manufacturer, both BikeParka models are designed for longtail cargo bikes up to 210 centimetres in length, 130 centimetres in height and 80 centimetres in handlebar width. The robust, waterproof material is said to offer effective protection against various weather conditions.
A user-friendly design with two integrated openings allows direct access to the bike lock without having to remove the cover. With a weight of around 500 grams and conveniently stowed in the included Stuff Sac with a small pack size - the covers can also be taken with you.
Prices and availability
BikeParka has set the recommended retail price for the standard Longtail version at 99.95 euros. BikeParka Longtail WS, the larger version for bikes with a child seat, is available for 102.95 euros. With these new products, BikeParka is expanding its range of specialised bike covers. In addition to the longtail covers, this also includes models for standard bikes with and without a child seat or the Cargo model for very long bikes. Long John cargo bikes with loading area between the wheels.
