Even though there were models with a longer suspension fork at the Lux premiere in 2018, the 2022 version of the Canyon Lux with the addition Trail is now a completely new development.

Instead of just fitting a 120 mm fork and the Racebike Lux CF down-country-capable, the bike direct mail order company Canyon a more complex route. This is because, in addition to the longer fork and the minimally larger stroke on the shock, the main frame and therefore the geometry of the Lux Trail has been fundamentally adapted. The steering angle is a full 2.4 degrees slacker and the reach has been significantly increased for a longer front centre. Our test bike in size M is already ten millimetres longer than the normal Lux in size L.

Find out how the new 2022 Canyon Lux Trail performs in the laboratory and practical test in the test from BIKE 11/2021, which you can easily download as a PDF below.

The test costs 0.99 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
