Fancy something really crazy? For example, take the motorway towards Lake Garda and then simply take the "Trento-Nord" exit. Shortly afterwards, you will find yourself in a small, unknown mountain area between Trento and Lake Molveno: Here, too, an idyllic lake with a quiet campsite, green-covered Lago mountains with countless military trails and views as far as the nearby Brenta Dolomites await.
The Terlago plateau is located in the upper Valle dei Laghi, just 30 kilometres from the northern shore of Lake Garda.

There are people who travel from Alaska and Nepal to take part in the BIKE Transalp. Not because they expect to win a place on the podium, but mainly because they want to experience the landscape with heart, pain and soul. The route can be enjoyed even more and much less lactate-driven if you pick out individual stages and plan them as a weekend trip. If you follow the route with a GPS track, you can afford to stop at a mountain hut and take the lift to help you along the way.
The anniversary route of the 25th BIKE Transalp (2023) will be particularly trail-intensive. The GPS data will be available at the start of the race on 9 July.
It once had at least the attraction of Lake Garda. But then the premium tour on the Strada delle Gallerie was closed to bikers and the Pasubio fell silent. Yet the Blood Mountain, with all its adventurous paths blasted into the rock and stories from the First World War, has lost none of its fascination. This three-day route climbs back up to the blasted peaks and battlefields of the Pasubio and does not skip the exposed but all the more scenic ridge paths. Caution: 2000 metres in altitude in one go!
The tour starts in Rovereto and leads back to Rovereto with an overnight stay in Rif. Campogrosso and in Crosara. Total: 132 km / 5154 m elevation gain / 3 stages.
Broadening horizons: Even if many Lago fans can't believe it, the panoramic trails actually continue beyond the Altissimo. The long climbs require some stamina, but you will be rewarded with insights into a completely new world.
The tour has 200 km / 6500 m elevation gain / 4 stages. In the south, the ferry from Torri del Benaco to Toscolano-Maderno shortens the route.
Trutnov, Dolní Morava, Rychleby, Pod Smrkem, Lipno, Mysločovice - there's no end to the list of trail parks that we have to envy our neighbours. And it feels like there are two more every year. So it's best to take a two-week holiday and ride as many of these creatively shaped lines as possible!

Small country, no mountains, but impressive rocky gorges through which you can speed along kilometres of trails. This three-day stage tour through Luxembourg is particularly worthwhile in spring, when your legs first have to get used to the metres in altitude again. The sandstone surfaces even ensure that there is no muddy mess after a downpour.
The route has a total of 112 km / 2200 metres in altitude / 3 stages.
The route starts in Luxembourg City and turns anti-clockwise to Echternach and Mersch.
