The Canyon Torque is a mountain bike for everything. For long bike park trips to Whistler and Port du Soleil in summer, short shuttle runs in winter and for the home trail in between. Expressly also when the trail is accessed conventionally using pure muscle power. With 170 millimetres of suspension travel at the front and 167 millimetres at the rear, the new Canyon bike presented for 2022 enough reserves for rough passages. The very steep seat angle places the rider far forward when pedalling. The long reach is therefore hardly noticeable when seated. You sit short and very upright thanks to the high cockpit. The rear suspension also remains nice and stable when pedalling, although the anti-squat values are set rather moderately. The Torque comes with large 29-inch wheels for the best rollover behaviour. However, if you want, you can also get the Canyon Torque as a mullet bike or in 27.5-inch as before. In the High-end enduro comparison test in BIKE 2/22 the Canyon Torque was able to convince our testers and win the price-performance tip thanks to its many equipment options.
The Canyon Torque is available in five different versions from AL 5 to CF 9, each in 27.5 or 29 inch. The CF 8 is also available as a mullet version. The CF CLLCTV is also available as a limited edition, which comes as a mullet with Öhlins suspension and Fabio Wibmer signature components from SQlab. In terms of price, the Torque starts with the AL 5 for 2799 euros and ends with the CF 9 for 5999 euros.
