The Continental Terra Adventure Graphite-Reflex has a useful extra: a reflective strip that ensures greater visibility and therefore safety. The gravel tyre is available in three widths.

According to the tyre specialist from Korbach, the new rubber should retain the technical properties of the standard model. In the test, the basic version scored points with a high feeling of safety on difficult terrain. The tyre is a particularly good choice for bikepacking tours. On the other hand, the Terra Adventure does not allow a faster pace due to the very high rolling resistance or only with great effort, according to the judgement after laboratory measurements and riding tests.

According to the manufacturer, the reflective strip on the tyre sidewall complies with the European standard ECE-R88 and is therefore also StVZO-compliant. Schwalbe recently introduced the G-One Overland, another off-road tyre with reflective stripes. The new Conti with "light strips" doesn't weigh any more, but the added visibility and safety costs a few euros extra.

The Continental Terra Adventure Graphite-Reflex is now available in three widths: The 28-inch versions with 45 and 50 millimetres are interesting for adventure gravel bikes. The 29-inch model with 55 millimetres is designed for use on mountain bikes. According to Continental, the Terra Adventure Graphite-Reflex is tubeless-ready and compatible with hookless rims.
