The new line-up is led by the G-One RS, G-One R and G-One RX models. The tyres come with the familiar tread pattern of the Pro series and are tubeless-ready, but unlike the high-end tyres, they do not have additional puncture protection called V-Guard. As a result, the off-road tyres should be significantly cheaper: Schwalbe quotes an RRP of €49.90 per tyre. This means you can save 25 euros compared to a Pro model.
The trio of new products is designed for different purposes: Thanks to its smooth tread, the G-One RS is particularly suitable for use on hard surfaces and offers the lowest rolling resistance in the new collection. The G-One R with its distinctive boomerang tread pattern is an all-rounder for different terrains. Thanks to its relatively large lugs, the G-One RX specialises in rough, soft terrain. All three tyres are available in widths of 40, 45 and 50 millimetres. The RS and R models are also available in a 35-millimetre version.
With the G-One Overland, a robust studded tyre rounds off the range. The model is aimed at commuters and adventurers. Schwalbe promises high puncture protection thanks to three carcass plies, while a reflective strip on the tyre sidewall is intended to increase visibility. The tubeless-compatible Overland is also available in 40, 45 and 50 millimetre sizes. The price is 47.90 euros.
