Short cranks offer advantages on E-MTBs in steep terrain. The new E-Thirteen Helix Race e-spec cranks are now available for ISIS shafts in three lengths (for function) and two anodised colours for the eye. If you ride Bosch, you can also retrofit coloured chainrings.

E-Thirteen launches new cranks for e-bikes. The Helix Race e-spec cranks for retrofitting are available in two colours (visual tuning) and three lengths (functional tuning). Because: The steepest uphills are theoretically possible on an e-mountainbike. On trails, however, steps, rocks and roots can become stumbling blocks - due to a lack of ground clearance.

Shorter cranks on the e-bike bring a significant improvement here. So if you are still using long 175 mm cranks, you can now switch to E-Thirteen. The tuning cranks can be fitted in ten minutes with the right tools (See E-MTB crank tuning workshop).

The cranks are compatible with all ISIS shafts. This includes Bosch, but also TQ HPR50, Brose, Yamaha, Maxon and the Specialized 2.2 motors. For the new Bosch Performance Line SX and the Bosch CX e-bike motor, there are also matching chainrings.
