- Ultrasonic cleaners such as the Dynamic Super Sonic Pro provide a deep clean for drive components, particularly for hot-wax and heavily soiled chains.
- The unit features pulse and sweep modes, a 1.3-litre tank, 40 kHz, a bath temperature of up to 80 °C and a timer with a runtime of up to 30 minutes.
- It is particularly worthwhile for keen cyclists with several bikes or hot-wax systems, but less so for simple, oiled drivetrains that are rarely serviced.

- Stan’s Polar Drip Wax is a plant-based drip wax designed to offer the benefits of waxing without the need for a hot wax bath and with ease of application.
- Polar Bonding Technology is said to permanently bond polar wax molecules to steel surfaces, thereby ensuring efficiency, durability and smooth running.
- The wax is PFAS- and PTFE-free, suitable for all weather conditions, is said to last for over 322 km, and costs €18 per 120 ml; the chain must be degreased beforehand.

CHAINS | BELTS

- Chain oil provides reliable lubrication and is easy to top up whilst out and about, but it attracts dirt and requires more frequent cleaning of the chain.
- Chain wax keeps the chain clean, reduces wear and runs efficiently, but requires thorough degreasing and more frequent re-waxing.
- Wax is generally better suited to dry gravel rides, whilst chain oil offers greater durability and simplicity in wet, long or changeable conditions.

- Ochain MY27 reduces pedal feedback through decoupled chainring, improves ride smoothness, traction and dampens vibrations on the feet.
- Four models: R and N for MTBs, S and E for Bosch Performance CX Gen5-E MTBs; adjustable degrees of freedom between 3° and 12° depending on the variant.
- Maintenance: elastomer change every 100 hours, full service every 200 hours; new seals are designed to improve durability and intervals compared to predecessors.
