Scott Spark ST 900 Tuned

The "Spark ST 900 Tuned" model from Scott, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 9,999 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The Spark ST 900 Tuned’s frame is made from Spark ST Carbon HMF and incorporates Suspension Technology and the Flex Pivot System. The frame features adjustable head angle geometry and the Syncros Cable Integration System. It is also fitted with a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm Boost standard with a 55mm chainline. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 12 kg.

The Shimano XTR M9120 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power at both the front and rear, supported by 180 mm Shimano SM-RT76 brake discs. The drivetrain consists of the wireless electronic SRAM X01 Eagle AXS 12-speed system, controlled by the SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller.

Optimal suspension is provided by the RockShox Pike Ultimate Air fork with 140 mm of travel and the FOX FLOAT X NUDE PE EVOL Piggy Back Trunnion shock with an adjustable travel of 120 mm. The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL DC carbon handlebars with a width of 780 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The handlebar grips are Syncros Endurance lock-on grips. The Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing headset allows for a ±0.6° adjustment of the steering angle.

The wheelset consists of Syncros Silverton 1.0-30 carbon rims, which are tubeless-ready and fitted with DT Swiss Ratchet hubs. The tyres are Maxxis Dissector 2.4WT, which are also tubeless-ready and feature EXO 3C Maxx Terra technology.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium struts, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 1.5 seatpost with a 140 mm adjustment range. A Syncros Fork Fender provides additional protection against dirt and water.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 460 mm, a stack of 626 mm, a seat tube length of 410 mm and a top tube length of 602 mm. The head tube angle is 64 degrees, the seat tube angle is 77 degrees and the chainstay length is 440 mm. The bottom bracket is lowered by 33 mm, the fork offset is 44 mm and the fork installation height is 571 mm. The bike’s wheelbase is 1229 mm in total and the bottom bracket height is 343 mm.
