Trailbike Light: Scott Spark 900 Tuned on test
After the successful test of the RC version, we were very excited to see how the new Scott Spark 900 would perform in trail trim with a 130 mm fork.

At a hefty 8999 euros, the 900 Tuned is the second most expensive bike in the model range of the Scott Spark for 2022which only ends at an exorbitant 13,000 euros. Thanks to the 1851 gram frame, the Spark weighs just 11.8 kilos, even with a 130 mm fork. A real statement. Especially as Scott makes no compromises when it comes to the choice of tyres. For more grip, there is the new Wicked Will, exclusive to Scott, on the front wheel with a soft compound - perfect for an all-rounder with a wide range of uses. The Spark 900 Tuned is excellent on the throttle and accelerates effortlessly. With the shock open, the rear end pumps only slightly when pedalling. With the Twinloc lever, the fork and rear triangle can still be tightened quickly from the handlebar as usual.

Find out how the new 2022 Scott Spark 900 Tuned performs on the trail and in the BIKE test lab in the test from BIKE 9/2021, which you can conveniently download as a PDF below.

The test costs 0.99 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
