In terms of frame weight, no other fully can hold a candle to the Scott. The Centurion is the only bike to outperform it with its very light wheels. The low front end and comfortable length give you a sporty and propulsion-orientated riding position. Downhill, the Spark with its moderate steering angle doesn't let anything burn and offers a smooth ride when things get tricky. The big trump card is the suspension with Twinloc lever, as it can not only be locked out, but also provides an intermediate position for climbing with traction. When open, the rear suspension is one of the most sensitive in the test field. There is even a mini-keep, so that Olympic dreams don't burst at the last moment.
Conclusion: one of the best racefullys on the market. The Spark wins the practical evaluation.
The alternative: The Spark RC 900 Pro is available for 5000 euros with an almost identical frame and XT equipment.
