Scott Spark 900

The 2023 Scott Spark 900 is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 9,999 EUR, this bike offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical refinements.

At the heart of the Spark 900 is the Spark Carbon HMF frame, which is equipped with Integrated Suspension Technology and Flex Pivot. This technology enables adjustable head angle geometry and ensures optimal cable integration via the Syncros Cable Integration System. The frame features a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm Boost axle with a 55mm chainline. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 11 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, with 180 mm diameter Shimano RT-MT800 CL brake discs. This combination ensures excellent braking performance and control. Shifting is handled by the SRAM X01 Eagle AXS 12-speed system with wireless electronic shifting, controlled by the SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller.

Suspension is provided by a FOX 34 Float Factory Air fork with Kashima coating and FIT4 damping technology. This fork offers 130 mm of travel and features multiple mode settings as well as a lockout function. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE 5T Factory EVOL Trunnion with a specially tuned large air chamber and three modes: Lockout, Traction and Downhill. The shock offers 120 mm of travel.

The drivetrain consists of an SRAM X01 DUB Eagle carbon crankset with a 32-tooth chainring and an SRAM X01 XG1295 cassette with a 10–52-tooth range. The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL DC Carbon model, 760 mm wide with an 8-degree back sweep. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips.

The bike is fitted with a Syncros Silverton 1.0-30 wheelset, consisting of tubeless-compatible carbon rims 30 mm wide. The tyres are Schwalbe Wicked Will 29x2.4" EVO models, fitted with Addix Speed Soft on the front and Addix Speed Grip on the rear. The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium rails, mounted on a FOX Transfer Factory dropper post with a Kashima coating and a 150 mm adjustment range.

Additional features include Syncros Fork Fender mudguards, an integrated tool in the thru-axle system and a range of geometry adjustments such as a head tube angle of 66 degrees and a seat tube angle of 77 degrees. The bike’s dimensions include a seat tube length of 540 mm, a top tube length of 641 mm and a wheelbase of 1236 mm.
