Scott Ransom 910

The 2021 Scott Ransom 910 is a state-of-the-art mountain bike equipped with a host of technical refinements and high-quality components. The price for this model is 5,699 EUR. At the heart of the Ransom 910 is a Ransom Carbon frame featuring IMP Technology and an HMX Main Frame. The frame features a BB92 bottom bracket shell and an SL 6011 aluminium rear triangle. The VLK Virtual 4 Link Kinematic System, combined with compatibility with 27.5" (2.6 & 2.8) and 29" (2.4 & 2.6) tyres, ensures outstanding adaptability and riding dynamics. The frame is also fitted with SW dropouts for Boost 12x148mm and a TBC Trunnion Box Construction. The bike’s total weight is 14 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes with a 203 mm front rotor and an 180 mm rear rotor, both of the Shimano SM-RT76 type and with 6-bolt mounting. The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle, operated via a SRAM GX Eagle Trigger shifter. The fork is a FOX 38 Float Performance Elite Air with a FIT4 damping system, three modes and a Kabolt 15x110 mm axle. It offers 170 mm of travel. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE TR EVOL Trunnion, specially customised by Scott, with three modes (Lockout, Traction Control and Descend) and a travel of 170 mm.

The bottom bracket is an integrated SRAM DUB PF with a shell diameter of 41x92mm. The crankset consists of an SRAM GX Eagle DUB Boost with a 32-tooth chainring. The cassette is a SRAM GX XG1275 with a range of 10–52 teeth, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a SRAM CN GX Eagle chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 1.5 Rise aluminium bars with a rise of 20 mm, a width of 800 mm and an angle of 8°. The grips are Syncros Pro Lock-On grips. The stem is a Syncros XM1.5 made of aluminium with integrated spacers and a top cap, a diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 0°. The headset is a Syncros Pro Press Fit E2, tapering from 1.5" to 1 1/8".

The tyres are Maxxis Assegai at the front, size 2.6", and Maxxis Dissector at the rear, also size 2.6", both featuring a Kevlar bead, EXO protection and TR (Tubeless Ready) technology, as well as the Maxx Terra rubber compound. The wheelset consists of Syncros Revelstoke 2.0 rims with a width of 30mm, Tubeless Ready, and Boost hubs (front: 15x110mm, rear: 12x148mm). The seatpost is a FOX Transfer Performance Elite dropper post with different travel lengths depending on frame size (S: 125mm, M: 150mm, L & XL: 175mm). The saddle is a Syncros Kaslo 1.5 with titanium struts.
