Scott Ransom 400

The Ransom 400’s frame is constructed from Ransom 24"/26" 6061 alloy custom butted tubing and features a tapered head tube and a BB73 bottom bracket. The internal cable routing and the UDH 148x12mm axle contribute to its sleek and modern look. The maximum rider weight is 80 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 13 kg.

The braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT500 brakes and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers. The front brake discs are Shimano Deore SM-RT56 / IS / 180 mm and the rear discs are Shimano Deore SM-RT56 / IS / 160 mm. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 11-speed rear derailleur with a Shimano Deore SL-M5100-R shifter and a Shimano CS-M5100-11 cassette (11-51).

The fork is an X-Fusion Slant RC 26 with 140 mm of travel, specially tuned for children, whilst the rear shock is an X-Fusion 02Pro R Trunnion with 130 mm of travel. The pedals are Wellgo J345s with reflectors, and the bottom bracket is a Prowheel BB73. The crankset consists of a Prowheel CHARM-32T 2PC with Boost / 127 mm.

The handlebars are Syncros T-Bar made from 6061 alloy, with a width of 600 mm and a 9° angle. The grips are Syncros Youth 115, and the stem is also made from Syncros 6061 alloy. The headset is a Syncros OE Press Fit in a reduced size (1.5"-1 1/8").

The rims are Syncros DP30 with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm. The tyres are Kenda Hellkat K1201, size 24x2.4. The front hub is a Formula DC-71 IS / 15x110mm and the rear hub is a Formula DC-3248 IS / Boost 12x148mm, whilst the spokes are made of black stainless steel (15g / 1.8mm).

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro, and the seatpost is a Syncros Dropper Ducan Remote with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 80 mm, specially tuned for children.
