Scott Ransom 400

The 2021 Scott Ransom 400 is a high-quality mountain bike designed specifically for young riders. It is priced at 1,699 EUR and offers an impressive combination of stability, comfort and performance. The frame is constructed from Ransom 24"/26" 6061 alloy custom-butted tubing and features a tapered head tube and a BB73 bottom bracket. Both components are specifically tailored to the needs of young riders. The bottom bracket is a Prowheel BB73, and the crankset consists of a Prowheel CHARM-32T 2PC with Boost technology and a length of 127 mm. The cassette is a Shimano CS-M5100-11 with a gear ratio of 11–51 teeth, and the chain is a KMC X11.

The handlebars are Syncros T-Bar made from 6061 alloy, with a width of 600 mm and a 9° angle. The stem is also by Syncros, made from 6061 alloy, and has a diameter of 31.8 mm and a 7° angle. The headset is a Syncros OE Press Fit with reduced dimensions of 1.5" to 1 1/8".

The wheelsets consist of Syncros DP30 rims with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm. The tyres are Kenda Hellkat K1201, folding, and measure 24x2.4 inches. The hubs are by Formula: the DC-71 IS model at the front, with a 15x110 mm spacing, and the DC-3248 IS model at the rear, featuring Boost technology and a 12x148 mm spacing. The spokes are made of black stainless steel with a thickness of 15G (1.8 mm).

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra 2.5, and the seatpost is a Syncros Dropper Ducan Remote with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 80 mm, specially designed for children.
