HoheAcht BESTA MONTO

The "BESTA MONTO" model from the HoheAcht brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-mountain bike priced at 6,699 EUR. It is designed for a maximum load of 150 kg and weighs 22 kg itself. Fitted with a Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor, it offers assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh, ensures a sufficient range, whilst the Shimano Steps SC-EM800 display, featuring Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity, makes it easy to operate.

Braking performance is provided by Hayes Dominion A4 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear. The front brake disc measures 203 mm and the rear 180 mm, each with an IS 6-hole mounting. The bike is fitted with a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed derailleur, operated by the SRAM NX Eagle trigger shifter. The crankset consists of a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 chainring with 34 teeth and an FC-EM600 crank arm set with a length of 170 mm.

The BESTA MONTO’s suspension comprises a RockShox ZEB suspension fork with 160 mm of travel and a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock with 65 mm of travel. The frame geometry is optimised for a sporty riding style, with a head tube angle of 64 degrees and a seat tube angle of 76 degrees. The seat tube length is 440 mm, whilst the wheelbase is 1252 mm.

Lighting is provided by the M-WAVE Atlas K 50 battery-powered light set, which comprises a front light with an output of 42 lumens and a rear light with 6 lumens. The pedals are made of aluminium and are manufactured by Marwi. The handlebars and stem are made by Kalloy – HoheAcht, crafted from black aluminium. The ergonomic grips are by Ergon.

The wheelset consists of Sunringlé Düroc SD37 Expert rims in 27.5-inch size, combined with Maxxis tyres: an Assegai at the front and a Dissector at the rear, both in the size 27.5'' x 2.6''. The seatpost is a Kind Shock Dropper SP LEV Si Integra Remote, which offers additional adjustment options. The WTB Volt saddle provides comfort on longer rides, whilst a chainstay protector safeguards the frame.

An ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock ensures the bike’s security. Overall, the HoheAcht BESTA MONTO is a high-performance and well-equipped e-mountain bike, designed for both challenging trails and comfortable rides.
