Hellish premiere: HoheAcht Besta
The Besta is the first carbon e-MTB from the still young brand from the Eifel region. We are excited to see whether the name Besta lives up to its promise.

The basic structure: 160 millimetres of suspension travel, 27.5-inch wheels and a Shimano EP8 drive with 630 watt hours. The Besta is designed to excel on trails and in enduro use. The cheapest Besta costs 5399 euros, the top model Besta Dio (Esperanto: the beast of God) comes with Öhlins suspension, MT7 brakes and carbon wheels.

Price: 9999 Euro

Adrian Kaether's favourite thing to do is ride mountain bikes on bumpy enduro trails. The tech expert and bike tester knows all about Newton metres and watt hours, high and low-speed damping. As test manager at MYBIKE, Adrian also likes to think outside the box and tests cargo bikes and step-through bikes as well as the latest (e-)MTBs.
