HoheAcht BESTA DIO

The 2023 model "BESTA DIO" from the HoheAcht brand is an advanced e-mountainbike that is positioned in the upper class with a price of EUR 9999. The frame is made of high-quality carbon fibres and offers a permissible total weight of up to 150 kg, which ensures robustness and durability.

The bike is equipped with a powerful mid-motor from Shimano Steps, model DU-EP801, which offers support up to a speed of 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery, also from Shimano Steps, has a capacity of 630 Wh, which enables longer journeys without frequent recharging. A suitable charger is available for charging, which works with a voltage of 42 V DC.

The Öhlins RXF36 M.2 Air suspension fork with a travel of 160 mm and the Öhlins TTX2Air Universal Trunnion MTBM 1969 shock with a travel of 65 mm ensure optimum handling. The hydraulic disc brakes from SRAM, equipped with four-piston brakes and the corresponding Guide RE DB-GDE-RE-A1 brake levers, offer reliable braking power and control. The brake discs measure 200 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear and are mounted in an IS 6-hole design.

The gearing is a precise 12-speed derailleur system from SRAM X01 Eagle, supplemented by the XX1 Eagle Pedal Assist gear lever. The SRAM Eagle CS-XG-1275 cassette offers a range of 10 to 50 teeth. The drive is provided by a robust YBN S12e S2 chain.

The bike has ProTaper carbon handlebars with a width of 810 mm and a rise of 25.4 mm, which, in combination with the ProTaper MTB stem, ensures comfortable and controlled steering. The grips are PRO E-Control Integrated models.

Lighting is provided by the Sate-lite lighting set with a front light that reaches up to 50 LUX and a rear light with a visibility of 220°. Both lights are battery-operated.

The wheels are Mavic E-Deemax S35 models with aluminium rims, 29'' at the front and 27.5'' at the rear. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai at the front and Maxxis Dissector at the rear, both in size 2.6'' wide.

The Fizik Tundra M5 saddle and the Limotec A4 dropper post with an adjustment range of 170 mm contribute to comfort. A chain guard in the form of a chainstay protector is also included.

Additional security features include an ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock. All in all, the BESTA DIO offers a well thought-out combination of performance, comfort and safety for demanding riders.
