Hercules Nos SUV 2.2

The "Nos SUV 2.2" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance e-mountain bike designed for challenging rides. Priced at 4,699 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of technology and design. The frame is made from R14-Series aluminium (AL 6061) and is rated for a maximum load of up to 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

Safety is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, which feature the MT420 brake at the front with a 203 mm SM-RT64 brake disc at the front, whilst at the rear the MT420 brake is paired with an RT-EM600 brake disc of the same size. The Shimano BL-M4100 brake levers ensure reliable control over the bike. Shifting is precise thanks to the Shimano Deore RD-M5120 10-speed system, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter.

The Rock Shox 35 Gold fork, with 120 mm of travel, Motion Control and a lockout function, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. This is complemented by the Schwalbe Johnny Watts Performance tyres, fitted to TRYP35 rims, which provide excellent traction. The hubs are from Shimano, with the MT410-B on the front and the MT400-B on the rear axle, both featuring the Centre Lock system.

For visibility and safety in low-light conditions, the Nos SUV 2.2 is fitted with a powerful Hercules front light, delivering up to 150 lux, and a Hercules R-Glow LED rear light. The Selle Royal Vivo saddle, mounted on a Kalloy seatpost, ensures additional comfort on long journeys.

The e-bike is powered by a powerful 250-watt EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, powered by a Simplo Intube battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. It is controlled via the Shimano E6100 display. Practical features such as the I-Rack system luggage rack with spring-loaded flap, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an ABUS IT1 battery lock with an XPlus cylinder round off the complete package, which leaves nothing to be desired for the ambitious e-mountain biker.
