Comfort geo, top motor, large battery - the Hercules is aimed at the touring clientele. But is there enough budget for solid equipment despite the premium drive?

4699 euros, that's bitter, but with this budget you currently have to look around in the entry-level price segment. If you then stumble across the Hercules, you will come across a bike that clearly does not appeal to the sporty trail hunter. The experienced rider will realise this from the very first test ride: upright, compact, not very sporty. On the other hand, you could say that the conservative frame geometry is very comfortable. The fact that the NOS is aimed more at moderate terrain is also shown by the tame tyres: the wide Nobby Nic tyres in a favourable rubber compound roll well, but are neither traction nor puncture protection wonders >> e.g. available here.

Find out how the Hercules NOS FS Comp. 1.1 performs in practice in our detailed test. You can download the PDF with all the facts and lab results from EMTB 4/2021 as a PDF below the article.

The test costs 1.49 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in EMTB. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them - hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
