Hercules Nos SUV 2.1

The "Nos SUV 2.1" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a versatile and robust e-mountain bike designed for challenging rides across a variety of terrains. Priced at 4,999 euros, this bike offers a combination of high-quality components and a well-thought-out design. The frame is made from R14-Series aluminium (AL 6061), which not only gives the bike stability but also a relatively low kerb weight of 26 kg. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg, providing a considerable load-bearing capacity for both rider and luggage.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Deore SLX hydraulic disc brakes, model MT7120, with an impressive disc size of 203 mm at both the front and rear. The Shimano BL-M7100 brake levers ensure precise control over braking force. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore SLX RD-M7100 12-speed rear derailleur, which, together with the Shimano Deore SLX SL-M7100 shift lever, enables smooth and efficient gear changes.

The Rock Shox 35 Gold fork, with 120 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a powerful Hercules front light with up to 150 lux and a daytime running light sensor, as well as a Hercules R-Glow LED rear light. This equipment ensures safety and visibility in all lighting conditions.

The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Johnny Watts Performance tyres mounted on TRYP35 rims. The hubs are from Shimano, with a 15 mm thru-axle at the front and a 12 mm thru-axle at the rear, providing additional stability and safety. The Selle Royal Aidon saddle and the Limotec Dropperpost seatpost offer comfort and flexibility whilst riding.

Another highlight is the powerful 250-watt EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, which is powered by a Simplo Intube battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. The Shimano E6100 display provides the rider with all the necessary information about the current riding conditions. The spec is rounded off by practical features such as the I-Rack system luggage rack, Curana Apollo aluminium mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an ABUS IT1 battery lock with an XPlus cylinder to secure the bike. The adjustable Zecure UP2+ stem and MTB riser handlebars ensure optimum ergonomics and adaptation to the rider’s individual needs.
