Haibike Trekking 10

The 2024 Haibike Trekking 10 is a versatile, high-spec e-bike that is particularly well-suited to longer rides and everyday use. Priced at 4,699 EUR, it offers a comprehensive range of features and modern technology that ensures both comfort and performance.

The Trekking 10’s frame is made of robust aluminium and features an M12 (1.00) x 148 mm thru-axle as well as a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Deore M6120 disc brakes with 203mm rotors at the front and 180mm at the rear, complemented by Shimano Deore M6100 aluminium brake levers. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano SLX M7100 12-speed system, controlled via Shimano Deore M6100 trigger shifters, enabling precise and reliable gear changes.

The SR Suntour Mobie E45 LOR Lockout fork, with its 100mm travel and air suspension, offers additional comfort and control, particularly on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a Haibike Skybeamer 300 front light with 100 lux and an AXA Blueline rear light, both powered by the system battery.

Further features include VP VPE-461 pedals, a steel crankset with 40 teeth, a Shimano M6100 cassette with 10–51 teeth, and a Shimano M6100 drivetrain. The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar ++ with a width of 740mm, complemented by XLC Comfort bo3 grips and a Haibike Components TheStem ++ stem with a diameter of 31.8mm and a 12˚ angle.

The Rodi Tryp 30 aluminium rims are eyeleted and designed as hollow-section rims, fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto X tyres in size 62-584 with reflective strips. The spokes are Sapim Leader, and the hubs are from Shimano (MT400-B at the front and MT410-B at the rear).

The saddle is a Haibike Components TheSaddle, mounted on a Haibike Components TheSeatpost ++ aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 34.9mm. SKS mudguards made from Chromoplastik, an adjustable Ursus Mooi kickstand and a StandWell KM040 luggage rack complete the specification.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Performance CX GEN4 motor, delivering 250W of power and 85Nm of torque, which provides maximum assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures a long-lasting power supply, whilst the Bosch Kiox display clearly shows all the important information. The battery is charged using the Bosch Standard Charger 4Ah.
