GIANT Trance X Advanced Pro 2

The 2022 "Trance X Advanced Pro 2" model from GIANT is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders and is available at a price of 5,399 EUR. The frame is made from full carbon and features the Advanced Maestro rear triangle with flip-chip geometry and a carbon rocker arm. The bike offers 135 mm of travel and a maximum tyre clearance of 2.5 inches. The maximum chainring size is 34 teeth.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Deore BR-M6120 (4-piston) brakes with 203 mm front and 180 mm rear discs. The brake levers are Shimano Deore BL-M6100. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano SLX M7100 Shadow+ system with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano SLX M7100 shifter. Front suspension is provided by the Fox 36 Float Rhythm fork with GRIP damping and 150 mm of travel. The rear shock is a Fox Float DPS Performance, custom-fitted with a trunnion mount and dimensions of 185x55 mm.

The bike is supplied without pedals. The bottom bracket is a Shimano Pressfit, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano M511 with a 30T chainring and a 52 mm chainline. The cassette is a Shimano SLX M7100 with a range of 10–51T. Power is transmitted via a KMC X-12 chain.

The handlebars are GIANT Contact TR35 with a rise of 20 mm and a width of 780 mm, complemented by GIANT Tactal Pro Single Lock-On grips. The stem is a GIANT Contact SL 35 with a length of 50 mm. The rims are GIANT TRX 2 29 Carbon, tubeless-ready, and have an inner width of 30 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5WT at the front and Maxxis Dissector 29x2.4WT at the rear, both with 60 TPI, 3C MaxxTerra, EXO and Tubeless Ready. The hubs and spokes are also GIANT TRX 2.

The saddle is a GIANT Romero SL, mounted on a TranzX Vario seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm and variable length depending on frame size (S: 120–150 mm, M: 140–170 mm, L–XL: 170–200 mm).
