GIANT Trance Advanced Pro 0

The "Trance Advanced Pro 0" model from the GIANT brand from 2022 is a high-quality mountain bike that has been specially designed for demanding trails and technical terrain. With a price tag of EUR 11,999, it is positioned in the premium segment and offers a wide range of first-class components and technical refinements.

The frame of the Trance Advanced Pro 0 is made of full carbon and features the Maestro rear triangle with geometry flip-chip and a carbon rocker link. This enables a suspension travel of 120 mm and tyre clearance of up to 2.6 inches. The frame supports a maximum chainring size of 34T and is designed for an axle width of 12x148 mm.

The brake system consists of Shimano XTR BR-M9120 (4-piston) brakes with 180 mm discs, controlled by Shimano XTR BL-M9120 brake levers, which ensures excellent braking performance. The drivetrain is equipped with the SRAM XX Eagle AXS system, which enables precise and wireless 12-speed shifting. The shift lever is also from the SRAM XX Eagle AXS series.

The front suspension is provided by the Fox 34 Factory Live Valve fork with GRIP2 damping and 130 mm travel, while the Fox Float X Factory Live Valve shock, custom tuned, with 185x50 mm dimensions and Trunnion mount at the rear ensures optimum damping.

The bike is delivered without pedals, but has a SRAM DUB Pressfit bottom bracket and a SRAM XX Eagle crankset with a 30T chainring and a 55 mm chainline. The sprocket is a SRAM XX Eagle with a gradation of 10-52T, and the drivetrain is the SRAM XX Eagle Flattop.

The handlebar and stem are designed as a GIANT Integrated Carbon unit, whereby the stem has a length of 50 mm and the handlebar is 780 mm wide. The grips are GIANT Tactal Pro Single Lock-On.

Zipp 3Zero MOTO carbon rims are used for the wheels, which are tubeless ready and have an inner width of 30 mm. These are fitted with Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5WT tyres at the front and Maxxis Aggressor 29x2.4WT tyres at the rear, both supplied tubeless. The hubs and spokes are also from Zipp 3Zero.

The saddle is a GIANT Romero SL mounted on a TranzX Vario seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, whereby the height of the seatpost varies depending on the frame size (S:120-150mm, M:140-170mm, L-XL:170-200mm).

The geometry of the Trance Advanced Pro 0 includes a reach of 507 mm, a stack of 637 mm, a seat tube length of 496 mm and a top tube length of 663 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees. The head tube measures 130 mm in length, the chainstay length is 439 mm and the bottom bracket is lowered by 45 mm. The fork pre-bend is 44 mm and the standover height is 751 mm. The bike has a wheelbase length of 1263 mm and the crank length is 170 mm.
