Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLT 625 teak´n´iridium

The “Kathmandu Hybrid SLT 625 teak’n’iridium” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike available at a price of 4249 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology and Efficient Comfort Geometry, ensuring a comfortable and efficient ride. The frame features a tapered head tube, a fully integrated battery and the Integrated Carrier 2.0. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg.

The bike is fitted with Shimano XT BR-M8120 hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking performance. Gear shifting is handled by a Shimano XT RD-M8100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-speed rear derailleur in combination with a Shimano Deore SL-M6100-I shifter. The RockShox Recon Gold RL Air fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, offers excellent comfort and control on a variety of terrain.

Lighting is provided by the ACID Front Light PRO-E 110 and the ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-E, both of which ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The pedals are ACID PP Trekking. The drivetrain is powered by an ACID E-Crank with 38 teeth (175 mm // EE: 170 mm), a Shimano XT CN-M8100 chain and a Shimano XT CS-M8100 cassette (10-51T).

The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars with a width of 700 mm, complemented by Natural Fit Comfort grips and a CUBE Comfort Stem Pro stem, which is adjustable. The headset system varies depending on frame size, with sizes M and L fitted with ACROS AZF-1038, whilst size EE comes with ACROS AZX-1040 and BlockLock 135°.

The CUBE EX23 rims are tubeless-ready and have 36 spokes, whilst the Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres (55-622) provide excellent traction and durability. The hubs are by Shimano: the Shimano HB-MT400-B (15 mm, Boost, Centre Lock) at the front and the Shimano FH-MT500 (QR, Centre Lock) at the rear.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence+ Comfort model, fitted to a BySchulz G.2 Parallelogram Suspension seatpost (30.9 mm), which offers additional comfort. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose (34.9 mm). ACID 65 mudguards, a CUBEstand Pro kickstand and a CUBE Integrated Carrier 2.0 luggage rack – which is compatible with the CUBE Adapter and SnapIt – round off the spec.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 motor with 85 Nm of torque and 250 watts of power. The Bosch PowerTube 625 battery ensures a long range, and the Bosch Nyon display offers intuitive operation and numerous functions for the rider.
