Cube Acid metalolive´n´black

The "Acid metalolive´n´black" model from Cube, released in 2024, combines high-quality technology and well-thought-out design at a price of 1,199 EUR. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite using the AMF process, is double-butted and features internal cable routing. The tapered head tube and flat-mounted brake contribute to the bike’s stability and aesthetics. It also features an integrated SIC mount and an FM kickstand mount. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 13 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200/UR300) with Post Mount/Flat Mount (180/160 mm), which ensure reliable braking power. The drivetrain is a 12-speed Sram NX Eagle™, controlled by the Sram NX Eagle™ trigger shifter. The RockShox Judy Silver TK AIR fork offers 100 mm of travel and is fitted with a PopLoc remote control, ensuring a comfortable ride.

The pedals are ACID PP MTB, whilst the bottom bracket is a SRAM Power Spline with a 73 mm BSA thread. The crankset consists of a SRAM Stylo Eagle™ DUB with 32 teeth and a length of 170 mm. The cassette is a SRAM PG-1210 Eagle™ with an 11–50T range, allowing for a wide range of gears. The drivetrain is complemented by the SRAM SX Eagle™.

The handlebars are CUBE Rise Trail Bars, 680 mm wide, fitted with ACID React grips for optimum grip. The stem is the CUBE Performance Stem SLX with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH868.

The rims are CUBE ZX20 with 32 spokes and disc brake mounts; the tyres are Conti Ruban, 2.1 inches wide. The front hub is a Shimano Deore HB-M6000 with quick-release and CentreLock, whilst the rear hub is also a Shimano Deore FH-M6000 with quick-release and CentreLock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
