It's unusual for Cube to completely exhaust the price range in a test. But if you take a look at the features of the huge Race Floor, it becomes clear where the costs come from - and that they are entirely justified.
Cube is the only manufacturer in the comparison to specify a digital, illuminated pressure gauge for less than 60 euros. That alone would be reason enough to buy the Race Floor - especially if you want to keep a close eye on your air pressure on a road bike or MTB. However, there is also the very long, flexible hose, an ergonomically shaped and pleasantly rubberised handle and solid steel hardware. There is also a pressure release valve under the pressure gauge AND: The Acid is already available for Schwalbe's new Clik-Valve valves, because volume supplier Cube wants to increasingly rely on this innovative technology for future model generations.

The Racefloor Digital makes a high-quality impression as soon as you touch it. The plastics used appear robust, the handle is ergonomically shaped, cleanly rubberised and free from any annoying edges. It sits comfortably in the hand and provides immediate control.
The pump is quite large overall, which ensures a long stroke. The volume per stroke is decent, although not outstanding. The base is compact, but still offers a very stable base. In the test, the pump hardly twisted at all, even at higher pressures - a clear plus point.
At the beginning, the piston ran a little dry in the cylinder, which caused a slight hitching. After minimal lubrication, however, the pump works very smoothly. The manual forces remain low, which makes longer pumping processes much more pleasant. This makes the Racefloor Digital one of the more efficient pumps in the test field.
The Clik-Valve valve head is one of the pump's biggest highlights. It impresses with one-handed operation without a clamping lever, as well as a secure, tight fit and quick attachment and removal. In everyday use, this means less fiddling, less pressure loss and more comfort.
Exceptional for the price: the digital pressure gauge is clearly visible at the top of the pump, is illuminated and has a pressure release button. The readability is excellent - even in dark cellars or early in the morning.
The long, flexible hose makes pumping much easier. Even bikes on assembly stands can be reached without any problems.

The Cube Racefloor Digital is a very successful floor pump that impresses in almost all disciplines. High-quality workmanship, ergonomic operation, an excellent valve head and a modern digital pressure gauge make it a clear recommendation. Minor weaknesses in measuring accuracy are of little consequence.
