The “Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie SL 400 petrol’n’white” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike designed specifically for young riders. The price for this model is 2049 EUR.

The bike’s frame is made from Superlite aluminium with Gravity Casting and Agile Ride Geometry. The frame is double-butted and designed exclusively for disc brakes. It also features internal cable routing, giving the bike a clean, tidy appearance. The bike’s total weight is 18 kg.

The bike’s rims are CUBE ZX20 with 32 spokes; they are disc-compatible and tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Kevlar tyres in size 2.35. The front and rear hubs are Shimano HB-M525 and FH-M525 models respectively, featuring quick-release mechanisms and 6-bolt mounting.

The saddle is a CUBE Kid saddle, specially designed for children, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm and a CUBE Varioclose seatpost clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Drive Unit Active Generation 3 motor (40 Nm) in the Youth Edition, which delivers 250 watts of power and provides assistance up to a speed of 20 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerPack 400, and the display is a Bosch Purion model.
