The "Acid 240 coral’n’mint" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a versatile children’s bike characterised by its robust yet lightweight construction. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite 6061, which gives the bike excellent stability whilst keeping it lightweight. Priced at 459 EUR, the Acid 240 offers good value for money.

The bike’s brakes are alloy V-brakes with a power modulator, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain features the Shimano RD-M310 7-speed system, combined with the Shimano SL-RS45 Revoshift shifter. These components ensure precise and smooth gear changes.

The rims are made of aluminium and fitted with 2.1-inch CUBE IMPAC Smartpac tyres, which ensure good grip and stability. The front and rear hubs are made of aluminium and feature quick-release (QR) mechanisms with 28 spokes.

The saddle is specially designed for children and is also from CUBE. The seatpost and saddle clamp are made from CUBE Aluminium Lite; the saddle clamp has a diameter of 31.8 mm and is a Varioclose model.
