Cube Acid 240 Allroad leaf´n´orange

The “Acid 240 Allroad leaf’n’orange” model from the “Cube” brand, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust children’s bike, available for €579. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite 6061, which gives the bike high stability whilst keeping its weight down to just 12 kg. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg, providing ample load-bearing capacity for young riders and extra luggage.

The bike is fitted with Alloy V-brakes with a power modulator, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano RD-M310 with 7 speeds, which can be operated easily and precisely via the Shimano SL-RS45 Revoshift lever. The SR Suntour SF15 fork, with 60 mm of travel, provides additional comfort and control on uneven terrain.

For lighting, the Acid 240 Allroad features a Büchel Country LED front light and an LED Steady Light rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The pedals are CUBE PP MTB pedals, which provide good grip and stability. The crankset is a Samox with 32 teeth and a length of 152 mm, fitted with an aluminium chain guard. The handlebars are made from CUBE Aluminium Lite and are 590 mm wide, which allows for good control and handling. The grips are by Velo and offer comfort and grip. The stem is also made from CUBE Aluminium Lite, and the headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH863.

The rims are made of aluminium and the tyres are CUBE IMPAC Smartpac with a width of 2.1 inches, which ensure good grip and stability. The front hub is a Shimano DH-T4000-1N with a hub dynamo and quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear hub is made from CUBE Aluminium with a quick-release mechanism and 28 spokes.

The saddle is a CUBE Kid saddle, designed specifically for children, and the seatpost is made from CUBE Aluminium Lite. The seatpost clamp is a CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 31.8 mm. In addition, the bike is fitted with Sunnywheel SW-613F/R Snap-On mudguards, which protect against dirt and water. An adjustable centre kickstand ensures that the bike can be parked securely.
