Corratec X Vert Expert

The "X Vert Expert" model from Corratec, released in 2021, is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its robust spec and excellent value for money. The bike’s frame is based on the X Vert 29, ensuring a stable yet agile ride.

For the brakes, Corratec has opted for the tried-and-tested Shimano MT200 series. A 180 mm brake disc is fitted at the front, whilst a 160 mm brake disc is fitted at the rear. This combination ensures reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The brake levers are also from the Shimano MT200 range and offer good ergonomics as well as precise modulation.

The X Vert Expert’s drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore 10-speed system. The shifter and crankset are also from the Deore series, with the latter fitted with a 32T chainring. The cassette offers a gear range of 11–46T, providing a wide selection of gears for different types of terrain. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain, which is renowned for its durability.

The bike’s fork is an SR Suntour XCM DS 29" with 100 mm of travel. This fork provides sufficient suspension for off-road trails and contributes to a comfortable ride.

The handlebars and stem are from ZZYZX and are made from a lightweight aluminium alloy. The handlebars are 760 mm wide, which allows for good control over the bike. The stem is also made from ZZYZX SL Alloy and completes the overall package.

The bike is fitted with Continental X King Performance tyres in size 29" x 2.20, mounted on ZZYZX Cross Attack 29" wheelsets. These tyres offer excellent grip and are suitable for both hard and soft terrain.

The X Vert Expert features the Selle X-Base saddle, mounted on a ZZYZX SL Alloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. This combination ensures comfort even on longer rides.
