E-Hardtail Corratec E-Power X-Vert 29 on test
Corratec's E-Power X-Vert 29 for € 2999 is the most expensive bike in this test. In terms of equipment, however, this hardly has a positive effect.

The handlebars could be wider, and a 180 mm brake disc at the rear would make perfect sense. On the other hand, the X-Vert has a very balanced riding position and good handling. The bike can be steered precisely and conveys a manoeuvrable, direct riding feel despite the large 29-inch wheel diameter. This is supported by the grippy 2.4-inch tyres. We also criticise the weak drive in combination with a long gear ratio on this bike. The motor integration with plastic protective plate is well done.

EMTB review of the Corratec E-Power X-Vert 29

A bike with feel-good geometry and a partially integrated battery. Despite the slightly higher price, the X-Vert 29 does not stand out from the field.
