Corratec X Vert Elite

The "X Vert Elite" model from Corratec, released in 2022, is a high-quality mountain bike priced at 1149 EUR. The bike’s frame is the X Vert 29, which was specially developed for 29-inch wheels and offers a robust yet lightweight design.

For the brakes, Corratec has opted for the Tektro HDM275 with a 180mm disc at the front and a 160mm disc at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The bike is fitted with the SRAM SX Eagle 12S drivetrain, which offers a wide range of gear ratios thanks to its 12 speeds and enables precise gear changes. The drivetrain is operated via the SRAM SX Eagle 12S shift lever.

Suspension is provided by the SR Suntour XCR Air RLR fork with 100mm of travel, which is specifically designed for 29-inch bikes and offers both comfort and control on uneven terrain. The crankset consists of the SRAM SX Eagle DUB with a 32-tooth chainring, whilst the cassette is an SRAM PG1210 Eagle with a 11–50-tooth range, enabling optimum power transfer and versatility on the trail.

The bike’s cockpit comprises the ZZYZX SL Alloy Handlebar, 760mm wide, and the ZZYZX SL Alloy Stem, which together provide ergonomic and stable handling. The tyres are Continental Race King 29" x 2.2 at both the front and rear, renowned for their excellent traction and rolling performance. The wheelset consists of the ZZYZX Cross Attack 29", which impresses with its stability and lightness.

The saddle on the “X Vert Elite” is the Selle X-Base model, which, together with the ZZYZX SL Alloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm, ensures comfort and a good riding position. Overall, the Corratec X Vert Elite offers a well-thought-out, high-quality specification package that is suitable for both beginners and experienced mountain bikers.
