Corratec MTC Elite Gent

The "MTC Elite Gent" model from the "Corratec" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality trekking bike available for 1249 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from the robust and durable Corratec MTC, providing a solid foundation for a wide range of rides.

The braking system is fitted with Tektro HDT275 disc brakes, with the front brake featuring a 180 mm disc and the rear brake a 160 mm disc. This ensures reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The bike’s drivetrain is a Shimano Deore XT 10-speed system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes thanks to the Shimano Deore 10-speed shifters. The front derailleur is also from Shimano Deore and contributes to the high-quality shifting.

The MTC Elite Gent’s fork is an SR Suntour XCM LO DS 29" with 80 mm of travel, which provides additional comfort on uneven terrain. The crankset consists of a Shimano Deore with 26-, 36- and 48-tooth chainrings, whilst the cassette is a Shimano HG50 with a 11–36-tooth range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X10 chain.

The ZZYZX Trekking Handlebar, with a width of 720 mm, combined with a ZZYZX Speedlifter stem, ensures comfortable and ergonomic handling and allows for flexible adjustment of the handlebar height. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres in size 57-622 at both the front and rear, fitted to ZZYZX 29er Disc rims, which provide good grip and stability.

The bike’s saddle is a Corratec Comfort Saddle, mounted on a ZZYZX SL Alloy seatpost, which ensures a comfortable riding position. Overall, the MTC Elite Gent from Corratec offers well-thought-out specifications and robust components that are suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
