Conway WME 2.7

The Conway WME 2.7, launched in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike boasting an impressive range of features. Priced at 3,149 EUR, the bike offers high-quality components that are suitable for both challenging trails and everyday use.

The WME 2.7’s braking system consists of TRP “Slate EVO HD-M807” 4-piston brakes and the corresponding brake levers, which ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The front brake disc measures 203 mm, whilst the rear disc is 180 mm in diameter, ensuring a balanced distribution of braking force. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M5100 Shadow Plus” 11-speed rear derailleur, which, in combination with the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M5100” shifter, enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The ROCKSHOX “Domain R” fork, with 170 mm of travel, ensures optimum suspension performance on uneven terrain, whilst the ROCKSHOX “Deluxe Select +” rear shock provides additional comfort. The bottom bracket is a SHIMANO “BB-MT 500”, which, together with the SHIMANO “CS-M5100” sprocket (11–51 t) and the SHIMANO “CN-M601-11” drivetrain ensures efficient power transfer.

The bike’s handlebars are CONWAY “Low Rizer” with a diameter of 35 mm and a width of 780 mm, complemented by SQlab “70X” grips for optimum grip. The stem measures 35 mm and the headset is a ZS44 / ZS56 with a 10 mm stack. The RODI Ready 35" rims are fitted with SCHWALBE "Magic Mary" tyres in size 62-584, which provide excellent traction. The hubs are from FORMULA: the “DC 511” model at the front, measuring 15x110 mm, and the “DCL 348” model at the rear, measuring 12x148 mm, connected by stainless steel spokes.

The WME 2.7’s saddle is a CONWAY “1489 sport light”, mounted on a CONTEC “Drop - A - Gogo” seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and an adjustment range of 100 mm.
